Marching On: Bookable-Space African-American Lit-Literary Salon March Guest

Writer's picture: Yvonne Battle-FeltonYvonne Battle-Felton

February has been quite the whirlwind! One of the highlights is confirming the guest for March's salon! I'll be joined by award-winning novelist and friend Melanie S. Hatter. Melanie will be reading from her latest novel, Malawi's Sisters. After the readings, I'll ask questions for an engaging discussion about Melanie's writing, influences, process, research, and more. Then, it's your turn. If you're joining us in Zoom or watching on Facebook live, you can ask your questions and engage in the discussion.

If you watch after the event, please feel free to pop your questions in the comments on the Bookable-Space African-American Lit-Literary Salon Facebook page.

The salons are warm, inviting experiences where we celebrate African-American literature. I love events like this because we can get to know one another and the authors over books, stories, and conversation.

I hope you'll us.

Yes, it's a monthly event. The next event is April 2 with Andrea Hairston. I hope you can join us in Zoom, or watch on Facebook Live, or of course watch later if that's better. Here's the link to the Facebook page so you can choose how to join in: https://www.facebook.com/bookablespace
